Great site -- I agree with FSures. That's why I posted better not refuel in Wrightwood Village.

Please put me down as a maybe. The date conflicts with the track day at Cali Speedway. Hmmm, decisions, decisions...

Rger-

Screw Fontana. this will be 40 times better -- 3 1/2 hrs of intense driving vs. how many laps at the Speedway + monster BBQ.

Scouted the route today. For those with maps, here it is. Raptors to Angeles Crest. Angeles Crest to Wrightwood to the 138. 138 towards Palmdale. (pearblossom hwy) to Sierra hwy back to Angeles hwy route 2. The drone part has some interesting ups and downs. Only problem is lots of chp's. By the way, today it was really foggy part of the way.

FSures-

What is "the drone part?" Do you think CHP is going to be a problem for us? (If you lead and don't have a radar detector, you can use my Passport 8500 with plug in cord.)

Raptor,By drone part, I refer to the hwy part that isn't too exciting. This route is way better than the fwy and will bring us back via a more exciting way. If you want to run part of the route Sunday let me know. As for CHP, any route that is a bike route will have extra CHP patrols.
