Sounds like everyone wants to do this on June 15 , that works for me.

Raptor

I am sorry that you lost money each time you hosted your BBQs. I say that this time everyone send Raptor a check so he can get food with the money he collects. If you are in for this run, work out getting Raptors address and send him a check. How much money should each person send you?

FSures

I like your idea of starting in Wrightwood and driving Raptors from there. Does that work for everyone else?

Might I suggest the planners take a look here to help plan it out: http://www.mulhollandraceway.org/roads.html Just scroll down the Angeles National Forest part and you'll see all the roads in the vicinity plus a lot of commentaries etc

We need a place to gather prior to the run. I would suggest that we anti-up 10.00 to 15.00 per person to Raptor for the BBQ. Since he is suppling the location, we should assist in getting or helping in any way to make it easy on him.

Man I haven't been to a meet in ages. Now that I've got my new rear tires, I think this is the perfect time and place to break them in.

$15 per head or $15 value food should do it. We have lots of beer, soft drinks, and water left over from March. I'll supply bratwurst, hamburgers, buns, condiments, plates, forks, etc. Bring side dishes like baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, dip -- that sort of stuff. Tan is doing Korean BBQ again. Feel free to bring other meats to BBQ. Post what you plan to bring, so everyone doesn't bring the same thing.

We should meet at my house first, so the food doesn't get spoiled. I suggest we meet at 8 AM and roll at 9 AM, like last time. We can do our run and caravan back on freeways.

Great maps, Steve. I'll have AAA put together a triptik that we can look at before we roll.

This is going to be a dynamite, primo event!

Send checks to;

George Johnson
3940 Mayfield Avenue
La Crescenta, CA 91214

My work number is:

(626) 440-1736

I am not trying to be contrary, but, it might be better to get the supplies in place prior to the run. I still think that it would be better to end up at Raptor's house, rather than fwy'ng back through the afternoon traffic. This is a great run, but it takes time to do it.

Fred-

I don't know how we can do what you suggest. How are people going to get food to my house in advance? Freeway traffic should be a breeze on midday Saturday.
