I'll be there, but there's no passenger seat in the race car. (That's where the Accusump and fire control system now reside.) Richard will probably have his other car there too, so I'm sure a ride could be arranged.
Turn 8 is a no lift turn, even on S02s. (Don't ask me how many laps it took my chicken butt to be able to actually do that )
In T8, S02s won't start to slip until 120+mph. The trick is getting into the right position/speed before turn 9... otherwise, you're screwed.
If you start to go off in nine... let it go! You'll just slide into the dirt and then you can continue straight into the hot pit. If you try to save it... Here's an example of what happened to one who made that mistake:
Here's some video of the right way to do it:

See you there.

I'd recommend doing Big Willow both days (2nd and 3rd) with SpeedVentures. If it's your first time to the big track you would benefit from back to back days as it is a track that you have to build up confidence gradually. After the first day you will definitely want to do the second day (speed is intoxicating ). Contrary to popular belief I think it is one of the safer tracks for the less experienced. Lots of run-off and on faster tracks non-advanced drivers generally drive a lot more below the true limit of the car than on slower tracks, and the track is designed for much higher speeds than less-experienced driver would be going, so greater margins for error overall. IMO

You'll be amazed how much more confident you'll be the second day. Btw... don't worry if your tread is getting a bit low. (I saw you post over in R&C) The fastest lap I've ever seen turned in a bone stock S2k @ Big Willow was by Conway Ho (billyjoho) on BALD S02s.
btw... I didn't mean to scare you with the earlier post. Here's what you'll look like if you go off turn nine and DON'T fight it.
