Isn't it ironic
So yesterday I put out a post about cops in Arcadia cracking down in speeding in school zones. This morning on the way to the gym before work, I get pulled over for speeding APPROACHING a school zone. Yup. I was above the speed limit (50 in a 35)...but so was everyone else. I was at the front of a bunch of cars. The officer was polite, professional, and even apologetic ("It's real easy to go fast around here and the only reason I'm out here is because the school is complaining about speeders."). Grrrr. 
At least I didn't get a ticket in the school zone (I was just starting to slow down for the school zone when he zapped me)... still. Grrrr. Gave me grist for me workout at least...

I got a ticket this past saturday on the 10 fwy on my way to the desert. I was going 92 and every car around me was going the same speed and many were passing me, but because it's a sports car, I got the ticket. Am sure it's going to be an expensive one as well.

thanks for the link - the worst part was last year I got a ticket for running a red - I was late for a cancer walkathon, so I can't goto traffic school.

man, i got 2 speeding tickets with my car, n i was going with the flow of traffic for one. n for the other on the opposite side perpendicular to where i got pulled over i got another one by the same cop. i was attempting to merge safely onto the freeway too. this is probably within a time frame of 15 min.

i understand the school zone thing, but before the school zone and all these other stories.....makes me want to punch them!

becareful out there!
the 35mph zone in Arcadia sucks!
some of the road are wide and straight, 2 lanes on each side
with not much cars or people around, 35mph is SLOW!
i have seen many cops in that area and i always have my Escort Passport (no X50 yet ) with me
