I have mine hooked up to my stock radio with the Neo Ion. So a search for it on the web - the company that sells the kit is in San Diego also. You can do the install yourself.

I just did this last week.
2 (at least) ways to go. Both are easy installs.
1. See: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piehon03pcpiox.html for an Aux input adapter that plugs into the stock stereo. You can use any mp3, or satellite radio. $90
With this route, you have to control the iPod manually, so you need easy access to it. Volume can still controlled from the radio controls once you set the volume on the iPod.
2. Go with the Neo Ion, specifically for the iPod. The iPod is controlled from the radio controls, so you can hide it.
Shannon can give you a review of how it works, but I heard it's a little slow when searching for songs, but I haven't used one (so I don't know what I'm talking about).
I went with option #1. I can use my Sirius receiver or iPod that way.
Install was easy once you figure out how to remove the panel that gets you to the radio.
(I'll never put an expensive radio in my S after seeing how quick you could get one out!) I put the iPod in the drink holder in my 05. Works great.
I think I saw an install video on the Neo site that used an S2000 as the demo. That was cool.

Install video for the Neo Ion that I posted in the electronics section a while back.
You're in luck, they used an S2000 as the test car.

I used to have the Neo-Ion. You retain some basic controls over the iPod with the Neo-Ion on the HU(Play/Pause, Forward/Back) To search between albums or what not you still use the iPod. The wires just plugs into the back of your HU where teh CD Changer would go. Neo-Ion is aobut 180 ish.

kel,
so if I install the neo to my stock HU... I wont be able to use my CD changer (Dont use it much anyway, but would be nice to still have it hooked up)??? You'll have to show me your set up one day. I never knew you set up your ipod to work with the stock HU.
Will the neo work with the ipod-mini? Caues thats what I have.

I think if you were to install a adaptor (neo ion) and pay 180 for just the module. Just add a few bucks more and get the alpine with ipod control. Better control all around imho.
