PROTECT IP Act Breaks The Internet

Well it's real and it's coming. China already censors tons of websites and I can say from first hand experience that it SUCKS (they have no FB or YT)! We are becoming more and more like Communist China and the internet is like our last line of defense against . We can't let this happen! Spread the word please if you care about our future.

Thanks for bringing it up. I did some research and decided I'm against the bill and am encouraging others to do the research too. IMO, this is the wrong way to protect IP

You might be right that it will happen, but I think you're wrong about porn being the excuse. Napster and its descendants will be the excuse. A typical case of Hollywood getting it wrong again, IMO. Napster was GOOD for CDs because it generated more interest in music than any marketing campaign. The Hollywood execs just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I think IP is a big problem, but this bill isn't the way to solve the problem. It misses the mark, by an entire target.

They'll use file sharing as the legal excuse and porn as the moral reason. They can win the bible belt and the corporate votes that way.
