Default I'm having hip replacement surgery on Monday.

I'll stay three nights at Glendale Adventist after surgery and two or more nights at a rehab unit after that. We visited the rehab unit on Saturday. It's mostly an old folks home, so I'm sure I'll want the hell out ASAP.

Don't let them cut the wrong hip. Good luck.

Good luck George. Hope everything goes well. How is the recovery/rehab process? What's your plan?

I'm not really sure. I know there's some rehab in the hospital after the surgery. I'm pretty much in the hands of a specialist doctor and therapists until I come home. I get a walker and a shower chair and grip bar delivered here in the office in a few minutes. I have to work my way from a walker to crutches to a cane to walking freely to weight training and cardio in the gym again. A buddy of mine was back at the gym 17 days after surgery recently. I can't drive until I can safely depress the accelerator pedal. And here's the kicker: There are 21 steps up from the street to my office.

In court, I wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
