Default Im going to be buying an S2000 in the next 4 months and i had some questions

Hey guys i just signed up to this site, and i was curious as to what you guys felt the price for a 2000 or 2001 s2000 with 15000 miles should go for?

Recycler says $26 700 but everyone esle is selling them for bout 27 in cali.

Also what are the ups and downs for them?

i heard they have lower torque until you reach higher rpms, and that for 2000 and 2001 the rear window which is made out of plastic gets messed up. But other than that i heard it was a great car. So if you have any suggestions then please let me know.
THANKS ALOT

The car makes very little torque in general and the HP doesn't kick until upper RPM's. That being said the car is quick, handles like a champ and brakes likewise. Get an '02 or '03, they make a little more power and the rear window IS better. I wouldn't drive anything else but an S2000!

Not sure about prices, sorry.

We've dynoed many 00's 01's and 02's in Socal and the 02's all make an average of ~8 more HP than the 00's or 01's. The ECU may be different. Sorry dude, but it's verified on a dyno. With about 20 stooks.
