Here's how UNFAIR the system is.

People getting paid:
*Judge
*DA
*Officers
*Jury

People not being paid:
*The accused

Win or lose, the accused still loses.

I have always felt that the neither the plaintiff or defendant should be paid for their time in court. Or the defendant should be paid for his time if he/she wins.

It's also in the courts interest for the defendant to be found guilty, After all it's those fines that pay the judge, DA and Officers wages.

So succinct about it, too.

I agree. To take it a step further, I think DA's should face some sort of penalty/fines or whatever if someone is found innocent. Too freely do they charge people, knowing damn well that "innocent before guilty" is really the other way around in our court systems. Even to some of the most fairest, open-minded juries, people are guilty before innocent. Maybe if there were some strict consequences, they wouldnt charge so many people without hard evidence.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!

Imagine if the police officer had to pay the $10 dollar fee on a fix it ticket wrongly given.... OH WAIT make that $25.

People are treated guilty before innocent without a doubt. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

I wish all cops were cyborgs like Robocop and the police force was run by corporations like the OCP.
