so its saturday night and i just ate in the village down in walnut. Friend calls me up to meet him up at life plaza. Around 9:45 pm i head out on valley towards fullerton rd. i was driving minding my own business going the speed limit 50 mph. Stop at a red light on what the cop says was Lemon and Valley (wasnt paying attention). I see a bmw the newer 3 series pull up next to me. i thought to myself "nice car". The light turns green and i step on the gas. No sooner did i hit 4th gear about 38 mph i see a cop who has his lights off tailgating me. i thought i was unlucky enough to have a dick cop be picky about my exhaust or something. about a min after following me extremely close, the cop turns on his light signaling for me to pull over. i greet the officer and asked him what seems to be the problem. And my luck just went down the poop hole from there. He says that further back down the road i was racing the 3 series that was next to me. At that point i was totally confused and frustrated. I told him that was not me and he took it as a typical response for a racer. He says he saw a car exactly "like" mine going no less than 100mph down. He also said he could hear me from a mile away. I knew there was no way i was going to convince the cop that the car he saw wasnt me but hell what are the odds of another white s2k with exhaust and hard top racing down valley at 10 pm? dont know if your on the boards but you just got extremely lucky because i got the ticket for you

ps i also got an infraction/fixing ticket for my exhaust. does any one know if HKS hi power is illegal, because from what i remember it was legal and this cop im guessing is just being a dick.

Oh man that totally sucks. Did he have a radar/laser proving that another white s2k went that fast?

 

take it to court if it really wasnt you. Thats what i would do, and tell them to show you some time of proof? video footage from the patrol car, with you in the picture, radar gun etc.

Sorry about your bad luck with the Walnut police, They get a little bored here in Walnut! there's not much crime ....nothing to big happens here so they write tickets....lots of tickets they like to run radar on Grand as the students come out of Mt. Sac heading south, but they have been using radar right in front of Walnut High 30 mph zone ... be careful

 

oooh video proof sounds good. are they suppose to have their video on 24/7 recording? ya they wrote me down for "unsafe speed" didnt clock me or anything. but without proof people tell me that its his word against mine. and 90 % of the time the judges gona take the po po's word.

 

Same thing happend to me in walnut. The cop gave the same BS story just with diffrent cars. Walnut PD SUCKS
