No matter who is waiting in the ER, they will take you first if you tell them what's up. It's rare that someone you're age is having a true MI, but it happens - and smoking and stress are major contributing factors.

Hopefully, it's not heart-related, but this is one of those things you can't **** around with. You could be dead before you decide what to do.

Like others have stated, go see a doc asap. Considering your age, I'm guessing you have some sort of a heart murmur that may be causing those pains/symptoms. Your doc might recommend an echo cardiogram if he/she detects a murmur. If your primary physician doesn't detect anything, ask for an authorization/referral to see a cardiologist.
