Funny people take better care of theirs cars ie...oil changes, tires, tuneups, cleaning & waxing ! 
But when it comes time to see a doctor for their checkup, tuneup they put it off! 
Some of us need to look at our prioritys a little closer! go to the doctor and I hope all turns out well !

Are you experiencing any sudden change in your heart beat? Like skipping beats ect?
When you go to sleep at night, do you find yourself waking up quickly and taking a deep breath almost as if you were out of breath?
When you say your arm is numb, which arm are we talking about the left or right? What side of your body do you sleep on? Right,Left, stomache,back?
Besides smoking do you eat spicy food, deep fried foods alot? Do you drink alot of carbonated drinks? Do you drink coffee or smoke an hour or 2 before sleeping?

Yes, definitely make an appt. to see your primary physician right away and tell him/her of your symptoms. It might be your sleeping position, since you aren't technically overweight (BMI scale), but getting close if you're 170.

Definitely go to the ER like most have stated. This doesn't sound like a weight issue at all. I'm 27 5'10" and 195. This is something that could potentially be a lot more serious due to the symptoms, and although we have professionals in the medical field on here, the best thing you could have done is to get into your car and go to the hospital and straight to ER instead of posting. Not trying to give you a hard time at all, but the severity of the issue and the fact that this is an internet forum for cars, means that it will not be of that much use to you at this point. GL...
