Default i need some help

ok i moved back to LA and finally got my s2k about 6 months ago, and a month ago it drops a valve, and totally screws the engine .... now i got a car payment and my livin...the...s2k...life...is on hold....ive been looking around for a f20 and a trustworthy shop to drop it in for me....so now im in need of serious help.... if anyone can help me out on where to find an engine or shop.....please let me know.....im also a newbie so if theres any meets i can drop in on that be cool too...peace

I can help you find a motor, I deal with rebuilders, junk yards and dealerships all the time. I export cars to China part time. I can also do the install for you unless you want to pay 80-90 an hour for labor at a shop.

How much are you planning on spending, F20's are not cheap and harder to find than most motors.

means valve cover to oil pan. doesn't include intake, exhaust mani, alt, etc.

would you guys by chace have any connections to finding a short block in Socal?

working shortblock or shortblock for rebuild?

it's going to be hard to find a working shortblock. nobody takes the heads off a working shortblock.
