Default I almost got involved in a spectacular accident just now.

I'm driving mrs. Raptor's Acura MDX with two other people on board on the northbound Pasadenaa Freeway just north of Downtown LA. I'm in the left lane and the freeway is bending around to the right. Some jeckoff kid in a beat up old compact comes roaring around me on the right, almost rear ends the car in front of him, and cuts me off. I lay on my horn and he turns around and looks at me as he flips me off. If there's any time you don't want to take your eyes off the road, it's when your car's not going in a straight line and the roadway is turning. He loses it, the rear end comes around, and he goes up and over the center divider. I thought he was going to go into oncoming traffic. The barrier flung him backward across all lanes of traffic right in front of me, about eught feet off the ground, and into a concrete wall on the right side of the freeway. Miraculously, no ine hit him. His car was absolutely trashed. I had the only lane of traffic that could go forwqard. He was moving around and not seriously hurt. #$%^&*ing idiot. I think it might make the news tonight.

And that freeway is very narrow because I believe it was the first freeway in Los Angeles. What about those old time on ramps where you only get about 30 feet to go from a standing start to freeway speed.

Does that mean you caused the accident? j/k. Glad you weren't hurt or directly involved.

i saw a really messed up 350Z, it was dark silver, and the front lights were crushed, hood bent alot, tires were bent, parts of the engine were hanging out.

This is the first 350Z I've seen that has been totalled.

Glad to hear that you and the other drivers weren't affected by it but for this idiot...that's what I call poetic justice

He wins a Darwin award!

This is good input- I can't help but think of us caravaning at high speeds, and how others percieve us or how close we are to diaster. I've been nearly sideswiped at 120- not a fun feeling.

Sobering.
