for those suggesting seat locks, op did have one seat locked; but it did not deter the seat from being all slashed up from a pissed off thief.
Some people wait months for the insurance company to find used replacement seats that are nowhere as good as the ones that were stolen.
Can't drive the car without seats, but you can with a slashed one.
