Did you ask to see radar? On the ticket how does it say he got your speed? paced, radar, laser. I got a ticket thrown out because I asked to see the radar and officer didn't show it to me. Trial by declaration ftw =]

That's pretty tough. Just trying to fight it and hope that the cop doesn't show up to court. But that's if you are lucky. You can say that his speed gun was not calibrated, that is only if he/she used one. That's going to be a real expensive ticket. I got one about 3 yrs ago going 65 on a 45 and my ticket was close to $400 plus traffic school ... and I had a clean record.

It was radar/laser.. err it must have been. He was parked elusively on the side of the freeway just waiting for someone to pull over. bastard.

It was December so I don't remember if I asked. He didn't tell me why he pulled me over, he just asked me for my registration went back to his copmobile and returned with my crap and ticket in hand. That was pretty much it.

So what should I do?

it depends on the county that you have to go to court. at the most here in orange county ive been able to get extended was 2x. i got pulled over last october and 2 extensions later..took care of it early this february

i think i got to extend mine 3 times for almost 5 months. I told them i never got it in the mail which i really didn't. Still lost though
