Default how to win in court

i got a speeding ticket last night on the 101 fwy heading northbound. i guess max speed limit was 65 and i was going "80" .. i was probably at 70 accelerating to 75 changing lanes to get on the 405 northbound lane. cop was coming on the on-ramp from van nuys entrance. so his method of clocking me at 80 was.. he "saw me".. i dont understand how u can tell the speed of a car going the same rate as the other cars on the fwy while your accelerating from 30 / 40 mph to reach highway speed. blah~

what to do???

any prior experience with this would be glady appreciated.

thanks in advice guys/girls

well if he didnt clock you with a gun, or he didnt pace you then its his word against yours... If you can come up with more reasons why you couldnt have been going 80 then YOU WIN.

was he a motorcycle cop? i've seen those guys pace very quickly. like a freakin couple seconds. they got on the on ramp, then pull someone over. it's how they get speeders since if they're just on the freeway everyone will slow down.

101 in North L.A. and parts of the SFV has a maximum limit of 55MPH. Particularly between Studio City and Downtown. Most drivers don't know (or care) so watch out.

CHP car, and the guy that pulled me over didn't even issue me a ticket. He radio'd over another officer(female) to cite me. Is this cause she needs to meet quota?

I don't have personal experience with them, but I've hear a lot of good referrals.

Take suggestions above. But you already admitted to exceeded the limit that you went 70-75.
