Default How strong are volk TEs?

can anyone describe how strong the Volk TEs are?

'they are forged, so they are light and strong' <-- not the kind of answer im looking for...

I hit a curve sideway going 80mph and it only bent the wheel...

if it was cheap wheels, it would of shattered into pieces

will it bent going through a pothhole at 80mph?

They are stronger than you will ever need them to be.

If your TE's break or bend, it's safe to say that all things equal, any other wheel would have done the same.

What were your previous wheels?

Keep in mind that anytime you're running a super short sidewall (an 18" would be pretty short), you run the risk of bending a wheel. That all being said, if I HAD to run an 18" wheel, it would probably be a TE37

Yeah, all it takes is the right kind of pothole and you're bent! My dad hit one in his car and bent his 18" wheel - but he complained to the city and they paid for it! Advantages of living in a smaller city, can't see that happening in OC or LA.

Nate- My previous wheel are 19"s 5Zigen 5ZR... heavy as F@#K...
are you saying that its not safe for me to run 18"s on the car??

i haven't seem any volks wheel getting bent from pot hole.. it usually from an accident.
