Default How SAFE is your neighborhood???

My younger brother, a Navy doctor, just finished serving 2 weeks in San Diego. Now he is working for USC County General hospital for the next two months. He has been telling me how scarey it seems here. He had been working at a hospital in Tennessee for some time, but he says things are crazy here. He takes care of 24+ gun shot wounds or multiple gun shot wounds a day.

What's interesting is that the go unreported by the media and they happen right here in the local cities... Alhambra, San Gabriel, West Covina, Long Beach, etc...

Most of them are just regular people who step into their front yards to pick up their newspaper. Many are even elderly. This is really sad.

Well, USC is in South Central, you have to expect it.

Anyways, Irvine is pretty safe.

The USC Hospital is in East LA, not South Central.

It's like a few miles from Alhambra, but the thing is, that their a lot of the patients are from all over the SGV.

Since County USC is one of the few Trauma Center left in Los Angeles, they receive patients from all over Los Angeles.

Pretty expensive, too!

Yeah L.A., or any other big city in America, can be a rough place!

The main USC campus is not South Central either. It's closer to downtown LA.
