hey guys,

i just got my hardtop from tommy and am ready to put all my car pieces together...i went to a body shop the other day and got quoted for my 4 piece kit (w/ a little work) painted and mounted and my mugen hardtop to be painted and mounted for $2800. what do u guys think? am i getting a good price or ripped off?

paint is life time warranty as well.

That sounds like quite a bit. I would say no more than $1,200 even with some minor body work to make the kit fit.

i would say... about $400-500 to paint... mounting... should be about same as paint...

MOB quoted me 350 to paint a mugen hardtop, no installation though.
