How much to have a used Honda CPO'd?
#4
I'll do it for $1000........okay $500
Seriously, I don't think it can be done without it being a trade-in back to Honda. For all they seem to do it is more smoke and mirrors than real service work.
Maybe Matt (Pierceman) can chime in and correct me.......

The Dealer must own the car to certify it (trade or purchase) then it has to be serviced up to date per Honda's time line (miles/year) and what ever is due its done. Then Honda charges a fee on top of that to the dealer to register it as a CPO.
if you want a warranty:
1. if you are still in factor warranty, you can extend it with no inspection, just pay and go
2. if you are out of factory warranty the car must be inspected and then a warranty can be paid for with service approval.
IMO the only issues with the car to worry about is Diff's and Miss shifts... Ask BC, he has like 1million miles on his with no issues. new motor at most is 8k.
