my friend got me $500 gift card to good guys after 6 month.... everything in good guys was expensive and they were about to go bankruptcy... luckily, i was able to convert to compusa @ long beach right before they announced bankruptcy. I end up getting $200 worth of itune gift card and old DVD movies...

Cash is king. $100+/pp is standard for hotel/beach/golf course/garden receptions, $75-ish for the cheaper stuff/non-open bar at a Chinese restaurant. I compensate according to what I'm served, especially if i don't know the bride/groom well. I think it's the only fair way.
