They might not stock the car but they have allot at their other dealer location. my Laguna 06 came from their other location.
Sticker is 34,600 i got it for 31,600 plus taxes, free vin etch on the car, free wheel locks, free floor mats (should be stock to begin with)
I went to several dealers
Long Beach Honda, (spoke to John Great guy but his Manager SUX!!!!!!!!!)
Norm Reeves Honda, Charging sticker and will not locate the car you want, they will only sell whats instock.
Then i went to Buena Park with out filling out a credit app, or any thing Andy offered 3K out the door, he secured it, agreed on a MO payment, then did the credit app etc...
now i have a Laguna S2K

$37K cash, no trade-in (including tax and additional warranty til 2013). I probably would have gotten a better deal if I was financing the car---that's how they make their huge profits

I forgot to mention...
$37K also includes roadside assistance til 2013.
Of course, the additional warranty is automatically voided once I opt to s/c or t/c MY06. This per the dealer's advice when I called them and discuss what my future plan was.

I was looking for a new one also and the best I found was 30,171 from Rock Honda. That was the no haggle price quote I got over the internet. Other dealers wouldn't give me a better price after I gave them this one, but I think if you work at it, you can get a better price.

You honestly think dealers don't make money by referring and/or finding a finance company/bank to finance customers' cars?
A friend of mine works for a major bank in the US who happens to specialize in car financing.

sure they can make money, but that's not where they get their huge profits.
and in the scenario we are talking about, we are speaking of HONDA dealers and American Honda Finance Corporation.
Most financed Honda's are financed by American Honda Finance Corporation, so NO, these dealers are not making huge profits because of the FINANCING...unless they are financing it through DIFFERENT INSTITUTIONS or their OWN INSTITUTION...that's a separate matter.
