We had volunteer police officers walking around writing tickets for violations (ie no front plate) at my work a while back. Do they really have nothing better to do? See if I vote for any medicare bills!

some people: pigs, meter maids love the fact that they can make others miserable with their existence.
but yeah... piglets suck more that meter maids... especially BevHill piglets... i see a bike-pig on olympic at 2:30 or so, every day pulling people over for dumb crap... oh crap... i forgot... its not about protecting the public; rather its revenue generation. Rock on pigs!!!

I got one of those more than 18 inches from the curb in Newport Beach years ago. I went to court and fought it since there was no curb. The judge said I was guilty but dropped the fine to $5 since I was so civic minded and fought the ticket. It turned out I was parked the wrong way on a one way street!

It wasn't cops that gave you the ticket; it was a lower form of life.

METER MAIDS

I ask you, what kind of person willingly accepts a job where they get to distribute misery to other humans all day long? What kind of self-deception does it take to convince yourself that you're doing something worthwhile and meaningful when you're a f***ing meter maid?

They are scum. Not worthy of the tiniest consideration.

Actually its ALWAYS a great idea to carry a camera in your car. sh!t happens, and the only evidence is a nice picture, whether its a parking ticket of a traffic accident.

but in this particular instance, how can the court determine whether you had taken the picture after you moved the car closer to the curb?
