All I care about is an explanation of WHY.
Just trashing threads without explanation is what pisses me off.

S2ki doesnt pay shit for the work you do, and you have to sit here and be a messenger on why you locked a thread?
Cover shit up, etc...etc...

Mods dont have to explain why... and I dont blame them for thinking this way.

When you become a moderator, you take on that responsibility IMO.
All I ask is for a tiny bit of notification.

I don't care if they don't get paid at all.

On a forum I setup I made it so everyone including me as an owner had to give a reason on the form, there was a few to choose from.
"commercial post"
"racial remark etc."
stuff like that, there was also a custom one that a mod could fill out if it wasn't any that were listed. Typically I'd provide a reason to help give users direction as to what was allowed.
The problem here is not the rules, its the fact that there is a MASSIVE double standard.

personally, i'd like to see posts of what services people offer. heck, i prefer taking my work to someone who has done the same job over and over, rather than some do-it-all shop. enforcement of these "rules" is actually a disservice to the community in my opinion.
anyway can i make a suggestion?:
someone start an official services thread. then all us "private/individual" contractors can post the services we offer, and a little something about why we're good at what we do, and of course contact info. and make it "individual" contractors only--i don't want pro shops in this list.

^ I much agree with that.
I was actually going to request an area like the "socal swap" that's shown above the boards in the Socal area.
ONE SHOULD BE FOR POLITICS
ONE SHOULD BE FOR SERVICES
Instead of S2Ki having to babysit all the time they could set it up so that it's intuitive and works without anything needing to be watched so closely.
