Greg why don't you just make a thread showing off your work on your own car. Unless of course thats what you did and "they" deleted it. If you build it they will come

Exactly, there are a lot of people that do work here on S2000s and don't have to start threads or advertise, but some here have not figured that out.
Fair enough.

No. Wanting to remind people how useless it was to GO down that path.

Ok, I've been gone for most of the day, and it brought to my attn about this thread. I guess Greg posted up some post, in which I dug up from the trash can,

"QUOTE (05TurboS2k @ May 6 2009, 12:31 PM)
^ Thanks for inquiring!

$150 for one side or $200 for both. This includes a cut,sanded,meshed,touch-up paint finish. For perfection
"

Well I'm sure one of the admins moved it b/c its a commercial post. This is nothing new to S2ki, so why is everyone getting bent out of shape? Patrick and I don't care much about it, but the highers do.

I didn't go thru all 6-7 pages, nor am I going to, but I don't think an old rule formed by the admins should be escalated this high.

Like patrick says, be discreet and be smart about it.

************************************************** **************

How I would approach this would be:

Thread title : What do you guys think of my hood?

Message: I just spent some time venting my hood, which is fast, great and inexpensive. If you guys need any help shoot me a PM. I'll be glad to help out.

(this is playing by the rules) at least in my eyes.

But if the admin removes it, then hell... even I can't do anything about it.

Ie: Gunshow asked me to do a 1 time Mugen replica HT deal, and I told him it was Ok. After 3-4 months of it, an admin came by and deleted the thread. Vendors complained about it. In this case, even my words can be overrulled.

FYI: If a thread is moved, don't assume its Patrick or myself.
