I think people need to chill a bit. The COs in SoCal tend to "let things go". Every once in a while one of the admins wonders in and shut things down, so that when a detailing thread or something similar ends up being left open all the shit comes down on the local CO's.

So someone like Greg comes along and calls out anybody and everybody out who happens to have a thread left open and now we need to shut them all down. I don't get paid enough to baby sit this crap so I guess it will be best to just shut down anyone and anything that remotely goes against the rules. If that is what everybody wants we can do that. Of course there will be a whole new shit storm that will result, but I guess I can handle it.

So it's Greg's fault that his thread gets locked immediately and other detailing threads are left open ad infinitum?

I can understand his frustration, I can't understand the supposed logic behind the locking.

I think what Pat is saying is he didn't lock the thread, nor BC. Possibly Admin locked randomly. Or they just don't like Greg. LOL

My point is it seems odd that detailing threads are left open but Greg's is closed immediately. How does that happen? You can't tell me that mods "randomly" show up just in time to lock his thread but ignore other commercial threads by accident. His frustration is with the double standard, not the rules.
