Hood latch not working
Hello guys, this isn't s2k related but I need help. The wife's car battery died and I was trying to pop the hood latch but I think the cable is broken. I can't get under the hood to replace the battery, any ideas on how to fix this? We have a 2006 Civic EX. I tried pulling the cable from underneath the driver side fender and no luck (because its broke). Hopefully I get some feedback, thanks!

Are you pulling on the correct part? the cables are usually insulated by a plastic covering. you have to make sure you pull the actual cable that is inside the plastic tubing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually used a longer flat head and was able to give the cable an extra push. It was caught on a grove under the latch itself so I had to do it from underneath but it works well now. Thanks again!
