The Honda Sports 4 concept previews the next generation Accord, gleaming in red nail-varnish, with a slim DLO mounted on taut shoulders and firm arches. Next to Europe's increasingly expressive surfaces, the tense Honda's seem more starched, though the overall volume of the car is similar to the recent Ford Iosis, both with athletic sides leading to more muscular fronts.
Here, both cars spread their graphics over the wheel-arches, though the Honda eschews the single lighting-beam favoured by the Civic, bearing more in common with the Accord. Inside, the swan-neck of the centre-console grows from between the front seats to embrace the dashboard, where the dials are held. The Sports 4 and Iosis will eventually be rivals on the road; it will be interesting to see which company invests to retain the lovely details from these show cars.

So ...... does this mean that, if they stop production on the S2, the S2 will become a classic car??? If so .... I'm one of the future owners of a true classic roadster that dominates all!!!!!
Hey everyone, look! It's the Honda Crossfire!

I doubt this is the S2000 replacement. The new car should have a high revving V6 or V8. It's competition is the ultra-profitable Boxster, not the high volume 350Z or Nissan boutique GT. I could imagine seeing more sports cars than just the currrent two to compete with Nissan since it's #2 in profit right now with Ghoshn running it.

Do you think they would really stop making the S2000? They made the NSX for 15 years without significant changes. If there was a 2015 model of the S2000 that was similar to the current one (maybe with a bump in hp, like they did for the NSX) I'm OK with that.
I don't need the fastest, shiniest new car on the planet...I want a car that fulfills the set of criteria that I like: light, decent power to weight ratio, convertible, awesome handling, not bedecked with giant wings and fast'n'furious style, enough trunk/storage space for a weekend getaway, and not outrageously expensive.
I realize I may be alone in this thought...

The issue I have is "S2000 replacement" or similar phrasings. Replacement as in "new high-end Honda perfomance vehicle" I'll understand. "Discontinuing the S2000 and replacing it with this thing" is an entirely different thing.
