was planning to till a bad case of 'oh shit' at work got in the way. I suggest you go to that handa link (a sponsor here) I spent a fortune online there to get maintenance stuff. I actually compared them to my local stealership (freeway honda) and they are actually way cheaper. But bought the stuff for my manual trans fluid, air filter, cabin filter, etc. Spent > 100 but I have enough filters to last me 6 oil changes, etc.

just watch out for your car and don't let them "test drive" it

@cantsleep 2quarts of honda mft, mobile sync for lsd, and at most 20 bucks for oil/filter. that + a few hrs of your time. will cost at most 50 bucks? Too bad yer in Pasadena! we could always put together a fluid meet! haha.
@megapower um...no way I'm dropping my car off anywhere near them. I only had to stop by there once to pick up some seat parts I needed to order. (the back plastic piece behind the headrest).

less than 60 for all fluids at RPM auto in Costa Mesa. I used Redline in the diff and honda MTF in the trans. Unless you want purple oil, you should be able to get all the fluids for around 60$

I know everyone likes the purple stuff, dave chappelle certainly does

Any mechanic should do the normal inspections for free with fluid changes because if he finds anything, this is potential for more money or earn a customer's future business.

1st point example: Hey, your cv boot is leaking, I would recommend a rebuilt axle.

2nd point example: Hey, I noticed that there was a creaking noise from the rear, it was just your sway bar and I torqued it up.
