Hockey is leaving SoCal
Hello All,
It is with mixed emotions that I create this post. After much consideration, I have decided to take a job offer with the MGM/Mirage Corp in Las Vegas. Although I have spent most of my life here in SoCal, I have always been open to the idea of moving away to experience other cities. The Bay Area treated me well in the late '90s and I hope that Vegas will do the same.
There are so many great people here that I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past years. The list is too long, but you know who you are. Numerous relationships have developed as a result of organizing and participating in events with the fantastic S2K owners in the San Diego/OC/LA region that I will always hold close to my heart. I will try my best to remain active with you all, and can see making it back down for some of the bigger events.
Which brings me to "Hockey Auto". I will be shutting down operations in the SoCal are by 10/28/05. I have a few openings available on the calendar, but they are filling quickly. Again, there are so many great S2K owners that this service has brought me in contact with that I cannot even begin to express my appreciation to you all. After 10/28 I will be concentrating on packing and relocating to the Las Vegas area.
Thank you all so much. I am excited about the prospects in Vegas. At the same time I'm saddened by the fact that I am leaving this area and group of folks....but rest assured I'll see you around.
Regards,
David "Hockey"

Though I've not had the opportunity to enlist your services, I've heard nothing but great things about it and about you as a person. Good luck in your future endeavors. I'm sure great things await you in Sin City! Cheers!
