Try driving with a skirt or dress on. When the deflector is down and the top is down, the air will get under the skirt (if it's not too tight) and lift it up. With the deflector up, the wind behaves itself and leaves the skirt alone.

I'll be there to watch both of you!!!!! I think it will help to get a visual not to mention the photo op of Peter in drag.....
