Post Help with NRG Damper install

I have had my NRG ETD sitting in my room for a while now and want to install it. I don't want to remove the heat shield, I rather cut a hole in for the ETD to go thru. I also have a puddymount bracket.

Does anyone have a DIY out there or some kind of measurements as to where you drill on the heat shield?

Thanks :

Jc

contact "blueap2". He helped me with a clutch install, and is a savvy cat! might be familiar with your situation.

iirc puddymod had a image or pdf of a template you just print out and place over the heatshield to see where to drill...

You would have to remove the heat shield to accurately cut it anyways. Removing the oem heat shield is pretty simple, and takes like a minute.

I'm sorry I meant I didn't want to take the heat shield to be able to use this ETD. I do want to take it off but to drill thru it.

Last time I looked at it, it seemed kind of complicated towards the firewall. I'll take a closer look tomorrow when I'm off.

Thanks Guys
