Default HELP: need good shop for alignment/steering

I got my car back after a minor front end crash and the steering feels completely off. The steering wheel now turns easier than my Civic, instead of the nice meaty feel it had pre-crash.

Does anyone know of a good shop to take my car to to restore my steering feel and check the alignment? Should I take it to a Honda dealer? If so, which dealers in the LA area actually know how to work on an S2000? I don't want my steering coming back feeling like a grandma's Accord...

I was looking for a place besides westend, but looks like that may be your best and only choice. I may even end up going back there.

Its hard as hell to get an appointment on weekends. I tried at Johnson's allignment too. They only open M-F. In speakin to the guys there, Darrin at Westend seems much more knowledeable.

Try Dick Cash Wheel Alignment in Glendale. They have been working on my cars forever. They are a bit expensive, but their work is never second guessed. They do a lot of work on restoration cars also. They are on Broadway between San Fernando and Pacific. Look them up on Yahoo.

Wow, that's close to me. How much do they charge, and will they do any alignment I ask, even if it's outside the factory shop manual range?

payneinthe, so did you take it to Dick Cash Wheel in Glendale for your alignment? Did you like the results and how much did they charge?

Thanks

No, I've still been using West End. I had actually forgotten about this place. I will have to check them out, probably with one of the SUVs first.

I've just called West End and Darin's not taking any weekend appointments. That kind of sucks since I work during the week.

BTW, how much did you pay at West End?
