Help me pick a career
#14
I got my MS in Anesthesia from CSUF.
It's an easy path to a sweet paycheck. Right out of school, you will earn $150,000+.
Not to mention the job security. It doesn't matter what's happening with the nation's economy, surgical operations will continue on a daily basis.
Step 1: Get your BS in Nursing. If you are a dude (which I assume you are) - it's nice to be in a program with lots of chicks - can you say "hookup"?
The classes are not difficult either, no matter where you go.
Step 2: Work one year in an ICU. You can get into an ICU position right out of a BSN program. The pay will be decent for that year.
Step 3: Anesthesia School (MSN Program). 2 years - also not difficult at all. You will have no trouble finding a job right out of school, guaranteed.
If you are business-minded, you can freelance, or even open your own practice or clinic. Pain management can bring in mega-bucks if you want to go that route.
Working at the job itself, is easy money. 95% kickback with 5% "Oh, Shit!!" - which keeps it interesting.
Whatever you do, good luck bro!

Mrfixit loves being the fluffer for gay $$$$$$ vids hahahahhaa!!
But yeah I agree with what BC said.. if you are going to pursue a career of a Mortgage broker then you don't need a college degree. It's just a waste of money because you won't need it in that line of work. Just sell sell sell!!

From my google search, I've gathered that there are two ways to becoming an anesthesiologist I believe, one is a Nurse's anesthesiologist and the other is I guess a regular anesthesiologist for lack of a better term. Do they both require med school and MCATs? From what I could tell, I believe you need a bachelors in some sort of biological science then go to med school (which I hear is hard to get into a top med school) and then do 4 years of residency? Thanks for the info
