HELP: Intake MANIFOLD...
Hey everyone,
I've been trying to install the hondata gasket and ran into a small problem and was wondering if any of you guys knew (who've done this or not) to remove these last two bolts. They are the actual bolts that hold the intake manifold to the block, bottom, 2nd to the last bolt. The intake tubing is thicker than the actual socket wall so it wont let me have a perfect mate with the bolt. Are there actually thinner 12mm sockets with thin walls for this purpose? Its driving me nuts.....
help me.....

You need to use 1/4 inch reg sockets and extensions. Some of the bottom bolts you can get to by going in from the top. Others by feel underneath. You might have to tape the bolt to the socket to keep it from falling off while you position it. Just take your time. Todd Marucci has instructions here http://www.s2000.org/mods/insulator/

I've been trying but I actually think the bottom has limited space for the actual socket itself. Socket itself seems to have problems getting into the space between the bolt and the manifold, preventing it from creating a perfect mate.
