HELP! Installing Pioneer HU and Having Trouble
So I cut the old harness and wired everything up.
speaker wires
Antenna
Power
Ground
And Im left with the illumination wire with nowhere to put it. I tried tapping the ignition wire but it just dimmed my dash because of the added load. The damn thing is not turning on and my ap2 has two fricken harness that went into the original radio. What am I doing wrong?!

Illumination wire doesn't always need to be hooked up. Most of the time its just for dimming and such.
What did you do with the ignition wire? By memory, I think red is ignition and yellow is constant +....
You said you "cut" the old harness...did you cut off the connector and not use a aftermarket harness?
