hey guys.. im actually re-considering USC now for business administration.. ive done all the math and yes its gonna be alot more expensive than a csu.. but i want a good quality education.. + i think i might be eligible for a cal grant and i have other sources of revenue to pay for my tuition.. anyone take business there? how would you rate the program. Im gonna start trying to network with usc business alumni, current students, and potential. thx

Why you say that? That's what I'm trying to do as well. I know that taking history and political science and all that crap sucks

i transferred from a CC (SCC) to USC after 3 semesters at CC. i accidentally took the wrong classes (be careful when dealing with counselors... they have good intentions but i got shafted) so one of those semesters was a waste.
i had a 3.7 and it would have been a 3.8-3.9 but a class i took in high school was weighted into my GPA.
i really wished i had waited another semester to apply to UC's (berkeley/LA) and other schools to open up my options. i think it was a mistake for me to transfer out early.
ahh... regrets

none of my classes are transfering over it's crap somehow my transcripts were lost which is stressful lol
they also throw in something called a limiter, it's a set amount of credit you can earn in CC before they will discredit the rest, even if you taken 120 credit in CC(assuming they are all transferable), if the "cap" or limiter is set at 70 unit, you just got rob for 50 unit worth of class
but again, in this economical climate, school is more important than ever

it doesn't hurt to go over your essay with an English professor (hopefully you have good relations with at least one of them). They're there to help you out. That will at least assist you in one of the aspect in transferring out to a 4-year institution.
