has anybody replaced a stud?
i spent all day on this with hammers and everything and i can't for the love of god get the broken stud out, let alone get the new one in. basically, search says it's possible to do for one broken stud, but might as well just remove the hub if you have more than one broken.
has anybody done this before? if you can do this for me in a timely fashion tomorrow please pm me and how much you'd like to be compensated for your time.
i'm in Arcadia
thanks
-Kevin
edit: or if anybody knows any shops in this area that can do it on a saturday, that would be great too!!

whacking the hub with a hammer is never a good idea, you'll do more damage then go ghetto ragging it.
just go to a shop and have it pressed out before you fwak the bearing too

front or rear? im pretty sure you have to do the whole shibang if its for the rear (ie. press a new bearing in, uninstall hub, etc)

It's for the front.
dont take short cuts, just get it done. the job is going to cost about 150 all together.. sucks because the stud is like 5 bucks.
best bet is to fine a used knuckle.
if u have a hard time finding a shop..... pm me. the shop i used charged 45 to press and repress the new stuff in.. just bring them the parts.

Kevin, that'd be (hopefully) the cheapest option if you can find it used. Installing it would be a lot easier as well, and not a lot of labor involve.
