Hey what's going on guys? It's been a few since I've been here, but it's nice to be back. I'm having a hard time shifting into my gears. I push the clutch all the way down and occasionally it will grind if I shift slow, but if I shift fast and hard it shifts fine. Any input on what the problem could be. Clutch fluid maybe? Thanks in advance fellas.
Start with the easy stuff. Change your transmission fluid. Take you about 20 min.

couple be number of things, i'll do the following in order

1) change the fluid to Syncromesh(GMSMFM)

2) flush the clutch, check for busted/leaky slave. if you have a leaky slave, the rod will not disengage teh clutch all the way=hard shifting, grinding.

3)syncro, nothing you can do about it

4)bend shift fork(ap1, heavy countersunk knob and track/fast shifting)

not likely the clutch
I still think its the clutch, but its hit or miss. You can try changing fluids but if the grind is getting worse I think the spring in the clutch disk may be giving out. It makes sense you can shift fast and it not grind because the revs have not dropped far in between quick shift. Have you ever heard of shifting without using the clutch petal? Sort of the same thing.

If it's still going into gear fine, I doubt it's your clutch. Definitely do the clutch fluid flush along with changing the oil in your tranny to the syncromesh fluid.
