the costco jack, rig red(small blue one), harbor freight jackk are all the SAME..

my brother picked up the Big red (small one) and i used it one time on a slope straining the thing and it started to leak.. returned it next day..

the fact is..if ur on a flat surface and treating the jack properly the jack will last. just like anything, if you take care of it, itll take care of u haha..

MOST places that sell jacks get them made from the same place. they are just rebadged and sold at various prices. Harbor freight is basically a warehouse style tool store where u get the name brand stuff without the label for cheaper. just because its from costco doesnt mean its necessarily cheaper.
you might be talking about a different jack. the one i'm talking about is a different brand called ACRAN. This jack isn't small its 2x bigger than harbor freight $59 jack. It's the size of the $100+ jacks at harbor freight. My friend has this jack and it works really good. Goes under our cars without a problem unless your slammed and it gets to the differential easily.

Here's what it is but Costco sells it in Red

I have that jack. I recommend it, but I hate having to drive up some wooden block before I can jack up the car from the front though.

** Note: I have an AP1 with front lip. Stock bumpers might be OK.

If you can't find this jack at Costco just buy the Harbor Freight jack. If your not in a rush wait till the jack goes on sale for $59 and use a 20% coupon on top of it like i did. For what I paid I'm satisfied

By the way you can call Costco to see if they have it in stock instead of driving around and looking for it. Alhambra normally carries these once a while but i heard they go by fast.

I have one. I bought one for my BF. He bought one for his shop. I also have probably 20+ friends who use that jack.

Mines a bit squeaky now... But besides that, been working great for almost 2yrs now. Noone else I know has complaints about these either. My 1yr old Craftsman gave out on me, which is why I ended up picking up the HF one.

I bought mine on sale for $79.... but wow $59 is awesome! Do it! Buy two!

btw... i dont think u can use that coupon for an item on sale unless you take 20% off the regular price.. the fine print reads cannot be combined with any other discount.

ive bought a few things thinking they would take an additional 20% off but it didnt fly..

I bought the $59 jack today and paid an extra $10 for the 2 year warranty. Hope it works.

Thanks for all the advice.
