Default Harbor Freight $59 jack?

I'm thinking about buying a low-profile jack. I have a regular sears jack now, but have to use to oem jack to raise my car high enough to use the sears jack. PITA to get my car on jackstands.

People generally seem to say that this $59 (with coupon) Harbor Freight jack is good. I'm looking for something that will fit under a lowered s2000 and last a long time.

Good jack?

I have had good luck with Harbor Frieght tools. Although if it does fail eventually atleast you can say it was only 60$. I have a NAPA jack.

but yours made nasty sounds!

i'll probably get one in a few days. using the sears jack was fine with a non-lowered car because i could drive on some wood to get extra height. but with a lowered car, the sears jack sucks.

i bought harbor freight impact screwdriver for my rotors. first one was defective. second one generally sucks. this makes me weary about harbor freight stuff.

this is similar profile to the craftsman racing jack (red ad aluminum one) which works GREAT but breaks easily (read the reviews on sears.com)

whats nice about these low profile RACING jacks is they lift FAST compared to regular jacks

get the 150 dollar harbor freight racing jack.. best jack ive owned for the price.. lifts about 17inches and as low or lower then those 60 ones. they also have quick up which saves a lot of time and effort. its the way to go.

i have the 60 dollar one and I'm ok with it. it's very low which is a must for me but it make horrible noises. buy the $10 2 year replacement plan.. it's worth it and they're really good about returns!
