I just got the new evo v12... Quiet at hwy speeds... I sacrificed a tad bit of grip due to the 280 treadwear instead of the 200 I am used to.. But all in all great tire!

v12 and rs-3 arent even in the same class. the rs-3's just came out. couple buddies picked up a few sets, they have 140 treadwear as opposed to the rs-2's 200 treadwear and the sidewalls are def stiffer than the rs2. the tread pattern looks promising and supposedly are going to compete with the new ad08.

my buddy has the rs-3s on his rx8. he just got them less than 2 weeks ago and on his first tank of gas, his mpg rose by about 4 (4 mpg). also says they grip better than whatever rx8s come with stock, so that gets a + in my book. drove in his car, didn't hear much, if any, road noise. and he's got a stock rx8, its a pretty quiet car.

also, you should look into the kumho xs. grm just tested them in this months issue and they came out on top, beat out the new potenza re-11, z1 star spec, r1r, re10r.... the kumhos are known to handle heat well on the track as they have 205 degree optimum run temp, while falken rt615's start getting greasy at around 140 degrees.

Yea the RS-3's look very good as well. I might be in the market for them later. I am on Advan AD07 and love them. My buddy has the Kuhmo XS and loves them as well. Those XS's are a pretty good tire, I don't want to run it because they aren't directional.
