hold on... a S2000 is 30k then add 15g by the time your even at what I'm talking about. I mean I could comapre a dirt cheap S for 17,000 and a turbo kit but realistically and to compare a NEWER car to his NEWER GTR that's what made the most sense.

Doesn't mean it HAS to be spent. HT for example there's 3,000 typically

Turbo kit + a built motor, Tein w/ Edfc. +HT Easily spend that.

Actually, this is the same issue when comparing the Impreza's to Evo's.

The Evo's AWD system is computer controlled and you just point and go with turns.

The Subaru's have a more mechanical AWD system and require more driver input to put it through turns.
from what I know EVO's AWD is primative in the US.. where it's just a flat 50/50 power distribution... unlike the JDM EVOs which have a computer controled power distribution to each wheel..

I could be wrong so dont quote me on this..

[QUOTE=Nicotunes,Nov 4 2008, 08:53 AM] Tires still would not account for the RWD/AWD.....
I think non of these matter. Why? Because it all comes down to DESIGN. If they wanted a ZR-1 killer, design it WITHOUT the things you list.

Saying "it's not a fair comparison" is kinda silly.

"Hey, you can't compare yours to mine. No fair!"
"why?"
"because yours is better than mine!"
"..."

If any mention of fair is raised, I would think it would be about price, ($30,000 is
nothing to sneeze at) not the components--both companies are free to use whatever
components/drive systems they like!

seriously all these GTR fan boys cant even imagine the idea that their precious GTR isnt the end of all cars..

GTR has 1 MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR downfall.. it's a fliping hog @ 3950lbs..

And I dont understand why people complain about the price difference.. how blah blah blah it's not fair because of it's price... but they they have NO problem comparing it vs the $126k Porsche 911 Turbo?

Stop picking and choosing it's Nissan's flagship... why not compare it to other manufacture flagships..
