^^ I frankly think the GTR is a good car.. but I absolutely hate it due to it's diehard fans that think its the the best car period..I dont like the ZR1 because of the styling especially the interior.. But I like that it's mindset is on the right track with being a a decently lighter weight car and pushing out great power. Plus i've always thought that a car sports car or sports coupe or whatevers should always be picky of it's drivers..

Because you all know... Money doesn't buy you driving skills.. but the GTR sure comes close
In that case, the GTR is "picking" drivers that want a GT car with performance that trumps the majority of the cars on the road. The GTR picked me.

One thing you have to consider is that just because the car has a lot of aids doesn't mean any body could get it as fast as it could go. Simply find all the times posted at Buttonwillow. Steve Millen was the only person that I've seen post a time of 1:56.9 on CW #13.

The ZR1 being more of pure sports car is relative.

I like them more because they just look a lot more aggressive.

Make the following modifications to bring the GTRs specs up to par with the ZR1 (Bring the car up to $100,00 pricing):
-Add a new ROM
-Add better rubber
-Make it the same weight as the ZR1

What do you get, GT-R V Spec!!!:

Anyhow, enough with the bench racing, every aforementioned car is

Sadly technology is taking driving more and more from the driver's hands. But driving skills still trumps any mod short of boosting. I've always been a fan of the Skyline legacy and honestly, this one doesn't exactly make my jaw drop but it's sporty and somewhat conservative. I do hate japanese car vs american car comparisons because the debate always go on and on and on and on about american cars are crap and only have big power plants while japanese cars are more efficient blah blah blah. All in all good comparison video, but considering how much cheaper (MSRP), less cylinders, and efficient the GT-R is than the ZR1 I'm still highly impressed. If only the ZR1 performance came in an Audi R8 package... droool!

Also the GT-R was aiming at the Porsche 911 Turbo, not the ZR1, I'm sure if they did match it up with the vette they would have gone a completely different route (which technically doesn't make sense since the history of the GT-R is like comparing apples and oranges to a vette).
