I had mine on stock shocks and its OK. The spring rates the seller is selling is designed for the stock shocks. I had it on my car (a while ago) and now its on my friends car, and it has over 20K on it, and no ride problems at all.

unless it's custom rate, the spring rate of GC is too high for stock damper.

it will leave the car underdampered and handling decrease.

if the rate is custom(assuming is softer) then you can't really lower it that much, or it will bottum out.(aka bumpstop riding) there's compromise in EVERY mods.

edit:

325F
275R

that's almost 100 pound/inch for each side(depends on the year, since honda changed the rate like 156 times) , you are asking alot for the damper to do. well, the only good thing is that it's front baised, which is good for the ap2 damper you have, most of the spring in the market for s2k is designed to work with ap1 rear baised suspension(spring rate, sway, etc)

not to rain on your wedding but if you are looking for a lowered look, you might want to get spring instead. you can get custom rated spring from most spring mfg now, just call around.(to get the rear baised rate like i mentioned before)

the coilover will probably overwork the damper on the track, unless you want to invest in an aftermarket damper to match the rate, it's not the best option for you.

sorry, but yeah.

So it will hold out good dropping the car 1.5 inches with ap2 shocks? Wouldnt this setup be better then just buying s-tech springs?
