Default Goudy Honda in Alhambra

Hi All ,

I've thinking about going to Goudy Honda to ask about replacing my ripped top.
My car is a MY05 with 25K miles. I have tried the Pasadena dealer and the service manager is an A-hole. He gave me a bunch of bs

If anyone has the top replaced there please let me know who to contact etc.

Or if anyone has replaced their top anywhere around 626 dealers please let me know!

Thanks much!

im from 626 area and always get my oil changes done at goudy. look for ivan.

but anyways.. when i first picked up my S. my top was old and ripped. best place i found was a place in northridge, a new brand new top + installation costed me like 8-9 bills. had to order the top online, and top was sent to the shop where i got it installed.

Where's the rip? Do you have a picture?
If the rip is in an area that rubbed up against the soft top frame you shouldn't have a problem.
On the other hand I think Honda of Pasadena are crooks who don't care about their customers at all.
They tried to sell me a wrecked S2000 as a new car. When I showed them all the damage and the sad repair attempt they made to cover it up all they could say is "how about a blue one then?"
Might as well give Goudy a try

Aaron Mayfield- Honda World in Downey (excellent customer service)- But like Leester said if its not ripped in the area where it rubs then most likel he wont be able to get it warrantied..However you should try him first..even if they cant help you they do their best and give good customer service

Just make sure you steer clear of their "Honda Certified" used cars, unless you feel like just getting a giant "F*** You" from Honda when you actually try to get warranty work done.

That's what it seems. Apparently they have no problem certifying a vehicle without pulling the spark plugs or changing fluids, and bent suspension components also apparently meet Honda's extremely high quality standards.

... If only Sochiro could see what's become of his nameplate.

damn it! I can't upload my pics right now... but the rip is 1/4 of an inch and its not on the area where it rubs. It's right behind the passenger's windown in the triangle area. it's so small you can't even see it, I found it because I inspect my top almost everyday...

That's exactly the rip I have as well. I can see daylight coming in and you can see the tear, but it's pretty small.
