Default got a ticket...

I got a ticket about a month or so ago, and it finally came in the mail (whopty do!) Anyways i got hit for 2 infractions (one point each), speeding (22356b) and unsafe lane changes (21658a). The total bail amount is $318 alot less than i expected (less than my rolling stop ticket). This is only my second ticket and the last one was at least a couple years back if not longer. As far as i know if i take traffic school it will stay off my insurance record correct? but the question is will traffic school only remove 1 point or both because they are the same ticket? This is my first speeding ticket... in 7 years of driving all sports cars or sport compacts (91 240sx, 95 eclipse GST, '01 S2000).

What would you do if you were me? Is it worth a shot to get the ticket down to only one infraction if i go to court and beg for mercy?

thanks for all help in advance.

you should tell the court since your car is red, the officer and his radar thought you were speeding...then you'll be down to one point...

Only 1 point.
If its only one point off.... how much does one point effect your insurance? any experiences?

Also, if i plead not guilty by written declaration and follow the ticketassassin advice, and found guilty anyways, what are my choices other than go back for a new in person trial? Has this happen to anyone?

Oh yeah i know he didnt have a radar becase i was easily going 120 but when he stopped me he asked, "do you know how fast you were going?" (trying to get me to incriminate myself). I answer, "No, sir". "You were going about 92mph", He said, then wrote me a ticket for 95mph. My friend was in the car with me when he did it too (i doubt this counts as evidence, or as a credibale wittness, just letting you know). Do you think its worth at least trying to fight through written declaration?

Does that really work?
