Default Got a speeding ticket...what are my options?

Hey guys...I just got a speeding ticket in my NSX. I'm confused as to what the numbers on the tickets mean so I'll just write them down:
Approx Speed: 62
PF/MAX/Speed: 45
Veh Lmt: 40

I don't really know how fast I was going, but I know it had 40 MPH speed limit. This is the first ticket since the last one (over 3 years ago and no longer on my record)...people had mentioned ticket assasin, traffic school and etc...anyone here have any suggestions? Thanks again...

Thanks. I still have to make a court apperance first right? Other question is, am I eligble for traffic school? I think there is a 10mph max over the speed limit isn't there?

My bad a little vague i would say. You should be able to do traffic school for the ticket, and i've never heard of that 10mph law for traffic school(maybe if you were going way too fast). When you go to court there gonna ask you if you want to pay the ticket, fight it, etc. Then they'll ask if you have done traffic school in the last two years i believe and if you have, then you cant do the traffic gig. So if you haven't they ask you to pay the fine and then pay an additional $25 i believe and your on your way. Hope this helps, not sure though i had to do this long ago and i can't remember everything. Oh, and your court date is on the ticket along with the division of what court.-MARCUS

Go to court and see the clerk. Pay the fine and pay for traffic school. My suggestion would be to do it online. saves a whole lot of time.

Thanks for the advice. Marc, sure you can drive it, as long as you don't trash it! (BTw, its only a '91 so its not much faster than your S2K).

Duc, so I plead guilty, pay the fine and then sign up for online traffic school?
