got a speeding ticket last night
Got on the 10 fwy at azusa. Accelerated and moved to fast lane. Cop pulled me over at grand. Said I was going 90. Prob more like 80. When he pulled me over I was going 70. He said he was getting on the fwy on azusa when I passed him on his left which I didn't think made sense, since I got on the fwy at that exit.
Guys have any good arguments to get me outta this one?

Theres an option at the bottom of the ticket where it says which court to report to. I would ask for L.A. court even tho I live in the valley. Makes the pig drive further.

i think nowadays, if you choose to take it to court instead of just paying the fine, you'll lose your automatic traffic school privilege...
my gf got a speeding ticket assigned to the west covina courthouse, and that was the case with her situation.

people just have too much pride and don't ask for fine reduction or traffic school in front of the judge after he/she ruled again your case.
you can always include that in your written declartion, if you lost that go straigh with trial de novo, there's always a chance the pig will not write back, if he did and he wins, there's a chance he can't make it to the court, if he did, there's a chance he will loose the case. The worst thing you can do is drop the case and pay the full amount
the only thing about the written declaration is that it's painfully slow process, i still haven't gotten my result back, consider my ticket was issued in may 3rd.
